Our technical division is comprised of seasoned structural engineers with expertise in validating telecommunication infrastructure. Our core values are structured around quality and turnaround which ensure a complete site sign-off and excellent counsel across project lifespan. Our capabilities in terms of structural services cover all type of telecom related structures including greenfield sites, rooftop sites, broadcast sites as well as small cell. In all cases, our engineering team reviews all the elements of the site from ancillary steelwork to main support structure and foundation system.

1. Tower analysis (Global Design Check / Structural Analysis)

The tower analysis cover any type of structure used in telecom (self-support / monopole / stayed / bespoke tower).  We use industry accepted professional software in conjunction with in-house developed tools to perform all the necessary checks to the latest applicable standards in the jurisdiction. Our analysis are validating the antenna steelwork, tower structure, connections, deflection, and foundation stability through all the required methods.

2. Steelwork Analysis (Structural Calculations / Mount Analysis)

The steelwork analysis refer to rooftop sites and antenna mounting steelwork. We use 3D modelling in a FEA software in order to ensure the highest fidelity of the modelling and to gat the most accurate and cost-effective results.  Our calculations cover the steelwork adequacy, connections, deflections, dynamic behaviour, and parent structure impact assessment.

3. Foundation Calculations

We are qualified to undertake verification of all foundation systems used in the telecom industry which include raft foundations, pier & pad foundations, piled foundation, root/caisson foundations, and alternative foundation solutions. 

4. Parent Structure Assessments

As part of our structural sign-off, we offer local impact assessments on the parent structures which represent the validation of a load bearing building element to safely transfer the loads imposed from the telecom application. Our capabilities include wall assessments (RC and masonry), beam & column assessments (RC and timber) and slab assessments (RC and various solutions).
